Return and Cancellation Policy

Returns

Your satisfaction is paramount! While we hope you are delighted with your selection, if for any reason you are dissatisfied, simply return the merchandise for a prompt, courteous replacement, exchange, refund or credit (see specifications for 'wine' purchases below).

The following policies apply to all orders (variations and restrictions may apply to 'wine' orders):

  • Contact us within 48 hours of receipt of shipment if a quality issue or damage to product was sustained during shipping. We reserve the right to have the merchandise inspected by the carrier.
  • Returns of general merchandise (non-wine, non-perishable) shall be made within '30' days of receipt of merchandise (if return is wine-related, please contact Romancing the Vine within '30' days of receipt of product. We cannot accept returns of opened bottles of wine unless otherwise requested).
  • Do not return perishable goods. If the gift you received containing perishables does not meet your expectations, please contact Customer Care within 3 business days of receipt for a replacement or a complete refund.
  • Returns accompanied by the original purchase receipt will be refunded in the original tender.
  • We cannot accept returns of items with missing or damaged components. Items not returned in original condition or a partial return may not qualify for a full refund.
  • Refund checks are unavailable to registrants for 'registry' gifts.
  • Returns without the original purchase receipt, including 'gift-registry' returns, will be exchanged or refunded at the current selling price in the form of merchandise credit.
  • In preparation for shipment of your return, wrap package well, securing all contents. Include original purchase receipt for your order and the return form.
  • Insure your return for full value.
  • Shipping & handling charges for items returned due to a quality issue or damage during shipping will be reimbursed. Returns for any other reason will need to be returned at the expense of the customer.
  • Claims for credit due to incorrect address information, relocation, or travel that we were not apprised of in advance will not be honored.  Furthermore, customers will incur any additional fees charged by the carrier for address corrections.
  • Merchandise returned as 'non-deliverable' for reasons other than incorrect address information will result in the issuance of a credit voucher for the purchase price, less shipping & handling. Please allow 14 days for all credits.

Cancellation Policy

Orders may be canceled with advance notice. If you wish to cancel a recently placed order, we will do everything in our capacity to expedite your request however, in the event that your order is already in the shipping process it cannot be canceled or revised. We will gladly honor your return of all 'non-perishable' items.
