What states can participate in the Wine Clubs?
Currently, due to direct shipping laws of alcohol for individual states and the restrictions therein, we are only able to offer Wine Clubs to AK, CA, NV, NH, NM, ND and WY (ID, NE, & OR coming soon). If your ship-to-state currently prohibits our direct shipment of wine, may we suggest a wine gift basket as an alternative, where we ship to 23 states.

Where should I have my wine shipped?
Direct shipping laws require an adult of at least 21 years of age to provide a signature at the time of delivery for release of all Wine Club shipments. We recommend shipping to a business address or to an address where an adult of at least 21 years of age will be present to sign for the delivery during normal business hours of 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.


What if I am not available to receive my shipment?
Wine Club members are responsible for informing Customer Care via phone, fax, email or postal mail at least 7-days prior to the shipment if the member will not be available to receive a particular shipment. If your wine shipment is returned following 3 delivery attempts, you will then be responsible for re-shipment charges.


How do I go about updating my shipping address or contact information?
Visit My Account to edit your profile, updating your address, billing and contact information. If you are a Gift Recipient, you may need to create an account in order to make the necessary
changes. Please include a recent order number to assist us in locating your Wine Club subscription.

Please be advised, it is always recommended that you contact Customer Care via phone, fax, email or postal mail in addition to making changes in My Account, as your current Wine Club subscription will not automatically update. Please note that you will need to change your shipping address before the 10th of the month for it to take effect on the current month's shipment. We'll ensure necessary measures are applied and your wine shipment arrives on time!


What if I prefer a Wine Club membership that is for a specific duration as opposed to month-to-month?
Simply select a club option that offers a prepaid subscription for the duration that best suits your liking (these memberships are not limited to gift giving) at 3 months, 6 months or 12 months. At the end of the selected duration, shipments will automatically terminate. You may renew at any time! (CS: For some reason this indented and I can't change it??! Shouldn't be this way! Sorry for the confusion!)


What is the difference in pricing month-to-month vs. pre-paid term subscriptions?
Pre-paid Wine Club memberships calculate Shipping & Handling charges upon payment at the one-time checkout, whereas month-to-month Wine Club pricing does not reflect such charges until billing is incurred at the initial checkout, and then with each subsequent monthly billing upon shipping.

Given consideration to inclement weather and extreme temperatures, particularly of concern during winter and summer months, monthly Shipping & Handling charges may fluctuate as rapid delivery becomes necessary in an effort to minimize the risk of frost or heat damage, these charges being reflected in your Order Confirmation. Additional charges may be assessed if requests are made to reroute shipments already in transit or reship orders returned as undeliverable.


Will I be taxed for my out-of-state Wine Club purchase?
Tax laws vary from state to state many states requiring that local sales tax be added to alcoholic beverages even if purchased outside of that state. In some states, alcohol may have a specified tax rate, differing from the base sales tax rate.


When will my Wine Cub shipments be delivered?
The introductory shipment of a new membership will be shipped within 5 business days from the time the order was placed and cannot be delayed for later delivery. Wine Club shipments process and ship during the mid-two weeks of the month, typically between the 15th and 20th, but no later than the 25th. November and December shipments will send early to avoid holiday delivery delays. Quarterly Wine Club shipments ship in November, February and May.


Giving a Wine Club Membership as a GIFT?
A Wine Club gift membership is ideal for all wine enthusiasts! Select the club that is most appropriate for the gift recipient offerings from each of our clubs are certain to satisfy palates of a broad scope of tastes. Your friends, family and business associates alike will delight in this extraordinary gift fine wine!

Prepaid Wine Club Gift memberships were created for convenient, unique gift giving (SENDER & RECIPIENT must be at least 21-years of age) , providing versatility in that the SENDER has the option of selecting the duration of the gift subscription, offered for terms of 3, 6 and 12 months. Your Gift Recipient is entitled to all member benefits for the selected term of membership.

Providing the Recipient's email address at time of order will ensure their access to all member benefits and shipping notification.

Additionally, please ensure when providing the shipping address that an adult of at least 21 years of age will be present to sign for the release of the delivery, as required by law. While Shipping & Handling charges are included in prepaid memberships, they may be subject to a state imposed tax, determined by delivery address.


Are Wine Club member discounts available on featured club wines?
Yes! We extend a 15% member discount on all current and previously featured Wine Club selections on orders placed within 30-days of the initial Wine Club shipment, while supplies last. Subsequent discounts and promotional offers for savings of up to 50% will be extended periodically to our valued members. Simply enter the promotional code received with your initial Wine Club shipment to redeem your discount when re-ordering your club favorites.


Can I cancel my membership at any time?
Yes. You may cancel your Wine Club membership at any time as you are under no obligation to continue the club beyond the first shipment. Simply forward your request to Customer Care via email at WineClubs@RomancingtheVine.com . You may also call or send your request via postal mail, should you prefer. Please advise of cancellation by month's end, to avoid the release of your next club shipment in the following month. Please be advised that Wine Club shipments that are already in progress or in transit cannot be canceled therefore, taking affect for the following month's shipment.
